PAST TENSE Time Clauses

Objectives: * Expressing pat time using sequence. * Using when, after, before and while.

Combine the two sentences using the word in parentheses to introduce the time clause. If your time clause begins the sentence, use a comma after it. Example:
First: He was working. Then: I came home (when)
