ERROR MESSAGES: DEFINITIONS:

CRN DOES NOT EXIST The CRN# (course number) you have entered is not a valid number for the current semester, OR the course is not a credit division course. Check the number and enter the correct CRN.

DUPLICATE CRN The CRN# is already listed on your records.

LINK ERROR:A1 OR 1A The course you have selected requires an additional lab,conference, or lecture. Check the time schedule of courses or click here to view the online class schedule.

MAJOR RESTRICTION The course you have entered is restricted and requires additional permission from the Department. Contact the Department for additional information

MAXIMUM UNITS The number of units of the course you have selected exceeds the 17 unit maximum (7 units during Summer Semester) allowed for a semester. To take over the maximum units you must contact the Counseling Department at (415)239-3296 for approval.

PRE-REQ/TEST SCORE The course you entered has Prerequisite/Test Score requirements that are not met. For further information please contact the Matriculation Help-line(415)239-3573.

REPEAT COUNTS EXCEEDS(#) Our records indicate that you have reached to total allowable times to repeat this course. For questions regarding this policy, contact the Office of Student Advocacy at (415) 239-3631.

TIME CONFLICT WITH (#####) The course(s) you are attempting to add are in "time conflict" with the CRN# listed. You must choose one or the other OR you make obtain a "TIME CONFLICT" approval form and submit it in person at the Registration Center, Phelan Campus, S.H.#118.
