and sound, and creating animations.

Tools for drawing, selecting,
editing, coloring, and viewing images

Timeline
Controls the
behavior of shapes and images to create animation. Important
concept is the use of keyframes which are arranged according
to the sequence your movie. There are three kinds of animation
on a timeline: Frame-by-Frame, Shape Tween or Mophing,
and Motion Tween. Important Timeline components
are layers, frames, onion skin, and the playhead or scrubber.

Work
Area
Is the gray
area that surrounds the stage. You can make entrances onto
the stage. You
can use this area to place images that you do not want
to be printed.

Stage Area
Is the white rectangular area
where you can create and view the various components of a
movie.

Panels
Helps you to monitor, arrange,
and modify the images in the movie. You can view or hide
the panels by using the Window menu option or by clicking
the icons on the Launcher bar. You can also doc tabs within
a panel to customize a panel.

Panel
Lists all imported graphics
and symbols used as instances on your stage. You
can make folders in the library to organize your assets.
