It’s about time for the Democrats to run a celebrity for a major public office. At this point they have very little to lose, since they’re not winning on their ideas. It’s pretty obvious that Scwarzenegger was mainly elected because of his celebrity, not for his brilliant ideas. Now his sheen is starting to wear thin as Californians realize what a lousy Governor he has been.
Warren Beatty has implied that he is thinking of running for Governor of California as a Democrat. Just imagine the entertainment value of witnessing a real life version of Bullworth vs. the Predator next year. They could even make a movie of it, and follow it up with the sequel, Son of Bullworth vs. Son of the Predator!
