Course number: MABS 406
Course Description: Designing and publishing business web pages on the Internet using Macromedia Dreamweaver. Web sites interactive input forms, tables, hyperlinks, graphics, animated images and multimedia. Course Dates: Class starts January 17, 2017

Timeline

This course will span the full 17.5-week semester. Some weeks are more challenging than others so you will have time to "breathe".

This course is taught both online and on campus. The on campus class is tech-enhanced which means there is an online component that mimics the online class in case you are ever absent from class. Both classes have the same timeline and graded projects.

The Weekly Lectures and Weekly Projects will be released one week at a time. I will not remove the previous week's information or assignments until after the midterm grades are entered. So you will have 9 weeks to complete the 9 weeks of work, and then the course is "reset" for the second half of the semester.

Grades

Your Final grade is based on projects (50%), midterm (25%), Final (25%).

This class, on campus, is taught at a fast pace using lectures, overhead projector, and hands-on instructions. The main goal of this class, and the approach, whether online or on campus, is to foster critical thinking. Less focus is placed on following step-by-step indtructions in a textbook. Any textbook is for outside reading and is meant to compliment the in-class lectures. Please check the college calendar for important dates such as drops and withdrawals. The links above, in blue color, will give details on textbook, course pre-requisites and course description.
