Dear CALL Students,

November and December are often beautiful, clear months on the California coast. If I have time, I enjoy driving north or south on Highway One. However, sometimes this is a very busy time of year. Another great idea is just to take  a long walk near the ocean in San Francisco. The wind blows hard, the air is fresh and the skies are usually not foggy.

One place I really enjoy walking is along the cliffs near the Palace of the Legion of Honor. You can look north there, and see the Marin Headlands, and maybe Point Reyes. The Golden Gate Bridge is always majestic, with or without fog. Another enjoyable walk is one near Fort Mason, near Crissy Fields.

Do you have a another favorite place to walk in San Francisco? If you do not like walking, where do you enjoy going in our city? What do you enjoy doing there? Send me and a classmate an email. (venccsf@yahoo.com) Describe your favorite walk or favorite San Francisco activity. Later we will write some web pages about San Francisco favorites!

Best regards,
Venette
