In the spirit of Joe's comment that this is a learning experience and not a competition, I'll make a few comments about the as-yet-unidentified critter. Has anyone ever seen that much white around the eyes of a House Wren, or that white a throat? If anyone can direct me to photos showing these features I would love to be enlightened. Also, what about the white under the tail? And no one has mentioned this so maybe it's just my monitor, but I see pale yellowish edges to the wing feathers which are showing, which doesn't fit well for any wren. Of course, the rest of the bird doesn't fit well for any species such yellowish edges brings to mind! What fun. Cheers, Bruce
