Attendance Policy: Attendance is a very important part of the class. Class will start a 8:00 am sharp Monday thru Thursday. Class starts at 9:00 am on Fridays. A roll call will be made at that time. If you are not present at the call of your name you will be marked as absent. If you come to class late you must stay after class to help the instructor clean up. You also will be required to inform the instructor of your tardiness. Make sure the instructor changes your absent mark to a late mark. If a student is absent 4 class sessions the student may be dropped from the class.
If a student misses any class materials it is their responsibility to collect such materials and make arrangements for any missed tests or exams.
How to pass successfully: Come to class on time and be here every Day! Review the lecture material and study daily menus for your station production. Learn about the cooking techniques for each section.
Don't skip any tests, do the take home quizzes and don't be afraid to ask questions during the lectures. Most of all have a positive attitude and learn all you can.
