My name is Elma P. Cabahug, and I am a faculty member at City College of San Francisco's (CCSF) ESL Department. Before I joined CCSF, I was at Modesto Junior College in Modesto, California, where I taught English and English as a Second Language.
I often teach higher levels of ESL, focusing on academic writing skills and higher grammatical structures. I am also currently teaching an online course on Advanced Grammar called ESL 85 . However, I try to vary my teaching load from semester to semester -- teaching all levels of credit ESL -- from the lowest level to the highest level. This way, I don't get bored and my teaching does not get "stale."
