December 16
We completed and reviewed the thrushes on page 348. We will continue on page 350 on February 10, 2000. The spring
schedule and registration information is here. Please preregister if possible. Many
thanks for a great year!
December 9
We completed and reviewed the old world flycatchers, and the thrushes and bluebirds on pages 342, 344, and 346.
Next week is the last class for the semester. Some people will be bringing treats to share.
December 2
We completed and reviewed the old world warblers on page 340.
November 18
We completed and reviewed the kinglets and gnatcatchers on page 338. There is no class next
week, 25 November (Thanksgiving). Next class will be 2 December.
November 4
We completed and reviewed the wrens and dipper on page 336. There is no class next week, 11
November (Veteran's Day). Next class will be 18 November.
October 28
We completed and reviewed the wrens on page 334 and began the wrens on page 336.
October 21
We completed and reviewed the the nuthatches on page 332 and began the wrens on page 334. This was the last class

We completed and reviewed the chickadees, verdin and bushtit on page 330, completed the Brown Creeper and started
the nuthatches of page 332.

We completed and reviewed the wrentit and titmice on page 326 and chickadees on page 328.
September 30
We completed and reviewed the vireos on pages 308 and 310. Next week we start with Wrentit on page 326 because
of changes in sequence between the 3rd and 2nd edition of the field guide.
September 23
We completed and reviewed the vireos on page 306 and began the vireos on page 308 through Gray Vireo.
September 16
We completed and reviewed the shrikes on page 304 of the National Geographic Guide, 3rd edition.
