The White Pines area has been included in the annual Calaveras Christmas Bird Count. For the complete Calaveras County Reports go to the Audubon Society and follow the link for the CBC Data base. Use CACA as the circle ID for Calaveras. The 15 mile diameter count circle for the Calaveras Count is centered near Avery. Future bird counts will be from December 14- January 5. Calaveras counts are usually Saturday or two after Christmas.
