This is a new course offering at CCSF Astronomy Department (since Fall 2004), and it is the first California Community College to offer astrobiology course as a general science course with NO PRE-REQUISITES. In fact, it satisfies Biological Sciences transfer requirement for IGETC or CSU, Natural Sciences transfer requirement for UC, and CCSF Natural Sciences graduation requirement. At least two other University of California campus (UCLA & UCSC) offer similar course as part of their offerings.
