Tackle

Compound bows may not have a bow weight greater than 60 lb. Recurve/Olympic Bow is used in Olympic target archery competition. String may have a serving and one or two nock locators. Neither the serving nor the nock locators can be positioned to function as a rear sight device. An arrow rest is allowed for its specific purpose, but is also restricted from being used for aiming. One bowsight is allowed, and may not include level devices, prisms, lenses, or electronic gadgets. Stabilizers are approved. Arrows must be marked with the archer's name, initials, or insignia, and all arrows must have the same colors of fletching, nock and crests. No release devices may be used or built in to finger protection accessories while using the Olympic Bow, but release aids are allowed for use by the FITA with compound bows. Allowed accessories include: clickers, bracers, bow slings, and quivers. Glasses may not be modified in any manner to assist in the aiming process.
