Administration Basics II

This introductory module completes our coverage of basic administration tools. The installation and maintenance of local documentation is one of the responsibilities of the Administrator, so we must have a good working knowledge of how local documentation works and how it is structured.

Note: The organization and function of the man system can be confusing. The overall structure and function is similar between systems, but the specifics can vary significantly. We will concentrate on the linux man system except as noted.
