Basic MIPS Instructions
This introductory material discusses basic MIPS instructions
(load-store and arithmetic/bit operations), the use of the MARS
simulator, and instruction encoding. As always, read the
assignment in the book prior
to these notes.
This instructional material is best viewed on Firefox with default font size of 16 and monospaced font size of 14 or 16. (A monospaced font is used for code, so it should be set to a true monospaced font.) The use of Internet Explorer for this material is not supported.
