Bienvenue!

South Louisiana has two unique cuisines: the Creole cuisine with its many courses influenced by the its close tie to the aristocracy of Europe, and Cajun cuisine--mainly pot-meals, pungent with the flavor of seafood and game.

flowers and clarinetCelebrate!  Most people eat to live, Creoles and Cajuns live to eat!  Their very existence is food, more food and still more food!  They are not greedy and certainly not selfish.  They will gladly share a meal with you, by offering you the choicest dishes for your pleasure.  They have adopted the Spanish motto "my house is your house" and they are very happy to make sure that your stomach is full.

"Laissez les bons temps rouler!"  This is a Cajun phrase that you will hear often in this part of Louisiana, which means,  "Let the good times roll!"
