This module covers the issues relating to backups and the standard Unix archive mechanisms of tar and cpio. It also covers a simplified use of rsync to synchronize data with a remote tree.

This instructional material is best viewed on Firefox with default font size of 16 and monospaced font size of 14 or 16. In the author's opinion, a sans-serif font is more readable.
