Watch the movie "The Promise Land" and write a 2-page response paper answering the questions below. Your paper should be in standard writing format: 12-pt font, double-spaced with one inch margins. Points will be greatly deducted from papers that do not follow these instructions.

What were the policy goals of the “Poor People’s Campaign”? How did campaign leaders hope to achieve these goals? Did the campaign succeed or fail? Why or why not? Do you agree with the goals of the campaign? Why or why not? Do you see any parallels to today’s political and economic circumstances? What do you think Martin Luther King Jr. would have thought of the Occupy Movement?
