Registration InformationCurrent StudentsIf you are a current City College student who is continuing from a previous semester, register for this class as you would any other. If you need to add, send an e-mail to mhock@ccsf.edu asking for an ADD CODE starting January 18 (I don't have add codes before this.) Please put MABS 407 in the subject line, and include your first name, last name, and City College student ID number (not your ss#). You will be able add using WebStrs starting January 18. New StudentsIf you are a NEW City College student (which means you have not taken classes in the previous semester), you must complete these two steps: 1. Apply to the college. You can submit your Admissions Application online or fill out an admissions applications on campus in Smith Hall Room 118. If you are applying by web, you must do so before the Admission Date. If you do not meet this deadline, apply on campus. Students taking less than 9 units or who already have a degree do not need to take placement tests. (See line 23 of the application.) A few days after you submit your online application, you should be able to log into WebStars. This is how you can see if your application "worked." If it didn't, give the Registration Center a call at 239-3732 or e-mail or visit them (Smith Hall 118, 50 Phelan Ave) in person. Write down your student ID number and WebStars password where you can find it again. The Online Registration System is open Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. 2. Register for the class. City College has a priority system for registration. Students who submit an admissions application a month or two before the semester starts will not have a "registration date," and are lowest priority. See the registration dates. After the semester starts on January 18 you must have an ADD CODE in order to register. Send an e-mail to mhock@ccsf.edu asking for an ADD CODE starting January 18. (I don't have add codes before this.) Please put MABS 407 in the subject line, and include your first name, last name, and City College student ID number (not your ss#). Once you have the ADD code, log in to the online registration system WebStars. Once in the system:
Now you're ready to start the class!
